On this week's "Press Club" podcast from Mediaite, MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Jon Lemire was quizzed on the "chaos" of Trump's first 100 days in office. But the amazing part came in discussing Biden's mental decline. Mediaite editor Aidan McLaughlin somehow didn't remember that Morning Joe Scarborough beclowned himself with his "Best Biden Ever" speech!

On Monday, MSNBC’s Morning Joe sent out co-host and Atlantic writer Jonathan Lemire to squirm and awkwardly reject comments made without evidence on Friday by MSNBC and NBC News law enforcement analyst Frank Figliuzzi that FBI Director Kash Patel was spending “been visible at nightclubs far more than he has been on the seventh floor of the Hoover Building.”

Morning Joe devoted a segment today to fretting over Trump arranging peace talks with Russia on Ukraine without, at this stage, the participation of Ukrainian officials.  But the show ignored Zelensky's stunning statement: that Putin is "afraid" of Trump and that while Putin is a "liar," Trump can push him into peace negotiations because he is "scared" of Trump, who is "strong."

The Tuesday edition of MSNBC’s Morning Joe was equal parts outrageous and unintentionally hilarious as political analyst Anand Giridharadas mused that Trump Administration immigration enforcement operations are akin to “Gestapo raids” in “East Germany.”

In the clip it airs of President Biden's remarks on the ISIS-inspired terror attack in New Orleans, Morning Joe edits out the moment when Biden totally loses his ability to speak and has to scramble his way back.

On Morning Joe, New Republic editor Michael Tomasky blames tne "right-wing media" for the public's approval of Trump's transition.  He singles out Rupert Murdoch for particular opprobrium. Tomasky is nostalgic for the days when there was "common civic agreement about basic morality in public life." Translation: when the liberal media set the agenda.

With Pete Hegseth's nomination as Secretary of Defense reportedly in trouble, CNN This Morning boosted Ron DeSantis for the position.  Meanwhile, over on Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough & Co. had great fun mocking Lindsey Graham. They depicted Graham as a Johnny-come-lately to the group of Senators expressing serious reservations about Hegseth's nomination. He was a "lagging indicator."

The leftwing media meltdown over President-elect Trump’s cabinet picks intensified this week with the news that he would appoint Kash Patel, the former Chief of Staff to the Defense Secretary, to replace sitting FBI Director Chris Wray.
